Groton School officials learned Wednesday that members of Mary Morrisson Elementary and S. B. Butler Elementary schools tested positive for COVID-19, Superintendent Susan Austin said. We have collaborated with Ledge Light Health District to determine and have already notified recent close contacts, Austin wrote in a notification to parents, guardians and staff. The affected individuals have been instructed to isolate at home following public health guidelines.

NT Police say they have issued an infringement notice to an airline worker for breaching COVID-19 directions.
The 33-year-old man arrived in Darwin on a flight from Dili in the last week of January and was directed by NT authorities to take a COVID-19 test and self-isolate until receiving the results as required.
NT Police said they later received information that the man had been leaving his accommodation.

Among firearm-owning individuals who died by suicide, handgun ownership was associated with greater odds of having died by self-inflicted gunshot wound rather than by another method, according to a Rutgers researcher.
The study, published in the Archives of Suicide Research, surveyed surviving loved ones of 121 handgun and shotgun owners who died by suicide – 93 of whom died with a firearm and 28 who died through other means – and asked about the numbers and types of firearms the individuals had and the circumstances of their deaths.
